Cathedral Smoke

Frankincense burning in a space with forty-foot ceilings that hold the smoke for hours after mass ends.

Notes: Cold frankincense smoke, ancient stone, old candle wax, trace copal, dry wood

Incense that reads architectural — the space as much as the resin. Use at 6–14% in devotional, gothic, or austere structures. The cold stone facet keeps it from reading as generic incense. Pairs with cistus, myrrh, and labdanum to build a full rite; with iris to add powder and distance.
