What GC-MS tells you
Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry separates every chemical compound in a sample and identifies each one by molecular signature. A finished fragrance, essential oil, or aroma compound goes in. A detailed list — what it contains, at what concentration — comes back as a digital PDF report.
It doesn't tell you how to recreate the smell. It tells you what is there. That's a starting point for reformulation, quality control, ingredient sourcing, or a clean-room comparison against another version of the same material.

Ship your sample
We'll send a shipping address and instructions. Standard sample is 1–2ml. Your sample is consumed in analysis and will not be returned.
Receive your report
Within 10–14 business days of sample receipt, your PDF report is delivered by email. The Analysis + Evaluation and Full Formula tiers include written interpretation alongside the data.
