Spanish Moss

Not what people think it smells like. Dry, slightly musty, and mineral. More lichen than floral. Found it in the Lowcountry.

Notes: Tillandsia air plant, damp oak, trace mold, humid air, live oak bark

Use at 5–10% in Southern gothic, atmospheric, or historical-American structures. The damp-mold quality gives it shadow. Pairs with red Georgia clay, magnolia leaf, and tobacco.
